The two downloadable Word files have the extended version
of the Lausanne presentation & the Script for the
shorter actual presentation, respectively. The planned
Lausanne presentation (shorter of the two) is contained
in the ppt file. The "Lausanne Speech" mp4 file contains
the actual videorecording of the Lausanne presentation of
June 16, 2008 it can be downloaded or viewed directly
from a parallel subpage: Actual Lausanne Presentation.
The remaining and numerous mp4 files contain the video
clips that play in the PowerPoint files. To view the
entire video lecturette, all 24 mp4 files must be present
together with the PowerPoint file. If you select and
download only a subset of the .mp4 files, only the
corresponding subset of the video clips will play.
Finally, with luck and the appropriate browser (probably
IE) you can play the PowerPoint file directly by clicking
here on: Play
Lausanne to see the Web enabled PowerPoint
version.
(Please be aware that only the most robust browsers will
run this correctly, including recent IE browsers.)
